MW™has launched a premier writing instrument in league with Conway Stewart™ that matches the exotic Damascus steel element with delicate guilloché on sterling silver. This limited edition of 20 pens puts hand-forged and heat-colored Damascus steel end caps on a popular and classic Conway Stewart pen design.
MetalWrite chooses to employ the old-style hand-operated methods to keep as much of the nuance of hand-worked engraving and production as reasonably possible. As such the Damascus end caps are turned individually on a manual lathe, hand polished and heat treated for color. The clips are also sterling silver and they are engraved on a separate straight line machine that is also hand cranked.
